A limestone product boasting multiple characteristics and applications

Our limestone fillers are completely natural products sourced from la Vallée Heureuse’s limestone deposits. They are ideally-suited to the specific requirements of agriculture and industry. In addition to their whiteness, our micronized limestone offers consistency in particle size, meaning that it is compatible both with the relevant technology with which it will be used and with other components.

In the laboratory : quality delivered, time after time

Carbocia is entirely capable of fulfilling its clients’ specifications, production standards and the relevant regulations in the field, allowing it to produce fillers of consistently good quality. We perform in-house physical and chemical testing (using an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer) to ensure product compliance and conformity. We also call on outside laboratories, accredited by the relevant ministry of the country in which our client is based, to perform annual and twice-yearly tests for dioxin and heavy metals. Carbocia and its partner quarries will perform specific analyses on request. We can pack your products in 25kg bags in order to facilitate testing.

In terms of particle size, uniformity and consistency, colour, flowability and chemical composition our micronized limestone fillers (ranging in size from a few microns to 4 mm) are perfectly suited to agricultural and industrial uses, meeting the specific standards and requirements of these sectors. We are able to operate on a continuous production basis and boast an integrated logistics infrastructure.

Carbocia

We sell top-quality limestone fillers extracted from the Carrières de la Vallée Heureuse quarry in France’s Pas-de-Calais area. The intrinsic physical and chemical propertiesof our limestone and our micronization techniques are of major benefit to many industries. We shift our focus and adapt our products to keep pace with ongoing technological progress thanks to our partner CVH’s laboratory.

Our products

Our limestone has a content of over 96% CaCO3. This extremely high level allows us to meet the specifications of the industrial and agricultural sectors. The particle size of our fillers meets all relevant product requirements and complies with all standards and regulations currently in force.
